As A.D. Marble continues to grow and expand, we are looking for a talented Water Resource Engineer to support our team. Candidates will have the option of a flexible hybrid work schedule.

In this role, you will need to be a driven, motivated engineer with practical knowledge in water resource engineering, in addition to a passion for project design and modeling.  You must be able to use design software and write effectively to communicate our vision for our client’s projects.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Support design for water resource projects including stream mitigation, trail design, wetland mitigation, stormwater management, erosion and sediment control, drainage design and construction inspections.
  • Perform hydrologic and hydraulic modeling and similar engineering calculations.
  • Conduct field reviews of project sites to assess existing conditions.
  • Prepare technical reports and present findings to clients

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
  • 0-5 years of related experience
  • Engineer-in-training (EIT) certification
  • Experience with Microstation, AutoCAD, HEC-RAS and Microsoft Office
  • Pennsylvania and Maryland design experience a plus

A.D. Marble is seeking a GIS Specialist with entry-level to 3 years of experience to fill a full-time position. This position allows for a hybrid work environment. Applicants require the ability to perform a variety of assignments, including compiling, creating, and processing GIS data, performing spatial analyses, data management and map production. Familiarity with GPS data collection and post-processing is preferable. Project work includes transportation corridor assessments, database programming and management, environmental constraints analyses, historic, archaeological and environmental mapping. Occasional field work to assist scientists, historians or archaeologists may be required.

Skills and abilities should include:

  • B.S. in Geography and Planning, Environmental Science or related field;
  • Educational Credits or Related Training using ArcGIS software
  • Entry-level to 3 years of ArcGIS experience;
  • GIS Certification a plus;
  • GIS and database programming experience;
  •  Excellent organizational and communication skills;
  • Manage multiple tasks, take initiative and work in a team environment.

A.D. Marble is seeking an Environmental Scientist with a minimum of 5 years’ experience to fill a full-time position. This position allows for a hybrid work environment. Responsibilities include leading wetland and stream delineations and assessments, threatened and endangered species surveys, National Environmental Policy (NEPA)  documentation, and PADEP Chapter 105 permit applications.

Duties may include:

  • Task or team lead for wetland delineations and other natural resource studies
  • Preparing technical documents
  • Preparing permit applications.
 
Skills and abilities should include: 
 
  • B.S. degree in Botany, Biology, Environmental Science, or related discipline;
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience, including wetland delineation;
  • GIS/GPS capabilities are a plus;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;

Anticipated salary range is $56,000 to $68,000, dependent on experience.
