I-76 is one of the most challenging traffic areas in the Philadelphia region. We are proud to be a part of the Jacobs design team for the I-76 Integrated Corridor Management Project in collaboration with the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) Engineering District 6-0. The project aims to mitigate major traffic and safety impacts along one of the most heavily traveled roads in the area.
The project website, which was developed by A.D. Marble, was launched to provide the public with information regarding the project’s background, highlight the innovative technologies being deployed along the corridor, and post updates on the project’s progress. We have prepared the graphics and text, provided photographs for the site, and set up the website hosting and security. Using the PennDOT template as a base, we created the site to help educate the general public on new technologies that will be implemented as the project progresses. It also allows the public to submit questions through the site that are then answered by the project team. Additionally, as the project moves forward, the website will include project plans, construction updates, and public meeting notices, and allow the public to send comments to the project team. Public involvement is one of the many services offered by A.D. Marble, and includes the design and management of engaging and accessible project websites.
