As part of the I-276/I-95 Design Management Contract, A.D. Marble was a subconsultant responsible for public outreach, monitoring final design activities to track the environmental mitigation commitments, additional impacts that may result from changes in design, and identifying and tracking design changes that occur beyond the FEIS limit of disturbance beyond those reported in the FEIS. This also included the review of final design noise evaluations and proposed noise walls, wetland and stream mitigation plans, Phase I and II archaeological evaluations and reports, historic studies and reports, threatened and endangered species mitigation, hazardous waste remediation, review of the Joint Section 404/105 permit, review of erosion and sediment control plans, review of storm water management plans and assistance in preparing the NPDES permit and amendments. A.D. Marble was also responsible for establishing and conducting the public involvement program which included public officials meetings, township meetings, special interest group meetings and community meetings and outreach to the community regarding noise walls. A.D. Marble established the Design Advisory Committee (DAC) and the prepared the DAC guidelines and ground rules. As part of the public involvement effort A.D. Marble also prepared newsletters, developed a project website and was responsible for maintaining and updating the project website and responding to comments and questions received through the website.
