A.D. Marble’s work efforts for the project were on an “as needed” basis to supply construction management support services. A.D. Marble provided guidance on numerous waste issues as well as erosion and sedimentation control interpretation and overview.
A.D. Marble’s involvement with waste related issues associated with the project was extensive. A.D. Marble conducted a complete review of the Phase I, II, and III Environmental Site Assessments (ESA) for the project as well as the Waste Management Plan (WMP), Site Work Plan (SWP) and Health and Safety Plan (HASP). A.D. Marble provided oversight for: the sample collection, treatment, and disposal of contaminated waters and soils on site, underground storage tank (UST) removal, cleaning, and closure, permitting assistance, as well as landfill and manifests assistance. A.D. Marble attended meetings involving regulatory compliance issues and served as the interface between regulatory agencies and PennDOT. In addition A.D. Marble kept meeting minutes and completed project site activity (PSA) documentation within PennDOT’s Engineering and Construction Management System (ECMS).
A.D. Marble participated in erosion and sedimentation control pre-inspection walk-through’s to advise PennDOT and the construction contractor of items that should be addressed to keep the project in compliance with applicable regulations. The results and recommendations of the walk-throughs were documented and provided to PennDOT and included photos and a summary of issues to be addressed.
