PENNDOT DISTRICT 6-0, OPEN-END CONTRACT ENVIRONMENTAL STUDIES

BUCKS, MONTGOMERY, DELAWARE, CHESTER, AND PHILADELPHIA COUNTIES PENNSYLVANIA


This open-end contract provided PennDOT District 6-0 with the majority of their environmental study and documentation needs for a five-year period. The geographic area covered a five-county area in the southeast region of Pennsylvania.

A.D. Marble & Company has already responded to a total of 15 work order requests, which have consisted primarily of fast-track projects. These tasks ranged in size from small bridge replacement projects to larger, more complicated projects. Technical tasks assigned under this contract include the following:

  • Scoping Field Views
  • Categorical Exclusion Evaluations (CEEs)
  • Wetland Identification, Delineation, & Functional Assessments
  • U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Jurisdictional Determinations
  • Pennsylvania DEP Environmental Assessment Forms
  • Historical and Archaeological Investigations and Criteria of Effects Reports
  • Phase III Data Recovery
  • Geomorphological Studies
  • Environmental Site Assessments for Hazardous Waste
  • Resource Agency Coordination (U.S. Army Corps of Engineers; Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection; Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission; Pennsylvania Fish & Boat Commission; Pennsylvania Game Commission; U.S Fish & Wildlife Service; and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency
