PENNDOT DISTRICT 3-0, OPEN-END CONTRACT ENVIRONMENTAL STUDIES

BRADFORD, TIOGA, LYCOMING, COLUMBIA, NORTH CUMBERLAND, UNION, AND SULLIVAN COUNTIES, PENNSYLVANIA


This open-end contract provided PennDOT District 3-0 with the majority of their environmental study and documentation needs for a five-year period. The geographic area covered an eight-county area in the north central region of the state.

A.D. Marble & Company has responded to a total of 45 work order requests, which have consisted primarily of fast-track projects. These tasks ranged in size from small bridge replacement projects to a 7.5-mile roadway widening. Technical tasks assigned under this contract include the following:

  • Categorical Exclusion Evaluations
  • Wetland Identification, Delineation, and Functional Assessments
  • U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Jurisdictional Determinations
  • Pennsylvania DEP Environmental Assessment Forms
  • Wetland Mitigation Preliminary and Final Design
  • Noise Studies
  • Historical and Archaeological Inventories and Criteria of Effects Reports
  • Initial Site Assessments for Hazardous Waste
  • Geomorphological Studies
  • Resource Agency Coordination (U.S. Army Corps of Engineers; Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection; Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission; Pennsylvania Fish & Boat Commission; Pennsylvania Game Commission; U.S Fish & Wildlife Service; and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency
