CAD Technician, Entry Level

A.D. Marble & Company is an Employee Owned environmental consulting firm with offices in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Maryland. The firm's staff includes environmental scientists and planners, archaeologists, architectural historians, engineers, landscape architects, air & noise specialists as well as CADD and GIS technicians. A.D. Marble & Company provides consulting and design services to transportation agencies, federal and local governmental entities, as well as private clients.

This CAD position is for our Conshohocken or Camp Hill office locations. Applicants require the ability to perform a variety of assignments, including creating and processing data, detailed map production, and developing construction documentation. Some field work will be required for onsite data collection and verification. Applicant must be able to work independently with basic MicroStation and AutoCad design files and be familiar with general cad standards.

Work environment: Drafting software includes MicroStation V8, Bentley In-Roads, and AutoCAD 2006 Minimum Requirements:

• 1-3 years of computer drafting experience using MicroStation
• Working Knowledge of AutoCAD 2004 or later version
• Knowledge of cartography and drafting theory
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• GIS and GPS experience a plus
