Marble & Company, a rapidly growing mid-sized environmental consulting firm seeks a highly motivated civil engineer with 5 years of experience. Responsibilities include state and federal permit application preparation, environmental field surveys and assessments, agency coordination, and project management. The successful candidate will have a BS degree in Civil Engineering (Masters Degree preferred) and hold a Maryland PE license (or the ability to obtain one within 6 months) with five years of experience from concept development through final design and construction phase services on state, municipal, county, or private projects. Candidate should have experience in design of roadway geometric improvements and/or site layout/design. Must be familiar with MicroStation/AutoCAD and appropriate design software packages (i.e. InRoads, Geopak and other similar programs). Work will involve the preparation of plans, specifications, cost estimates, and bid packages. Candidate must have excellent oral and written communication skills and have the ability to work on multiple simultaneous projects. Marble & Company, a rapidly growing mid-sized environmental consulting firm seeks a highly motivated civil engineer or designer with 2-5 years of experience.The successful candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering or Environmental Science with two (2) years of experience from concept development through final design on state, municipal, county, or private projects (Additional experience may be substituted for education). Experience in Erosion and Sediment Control Planning/Design is required (SHA and PennDOT experience is a plus). Must be familiar with MicroStation (preferred) or AutoCAD. In addition, the engineer or designer may be responsible for performing drainage analyses, preparing stormwater management designs and reports, site grading, and ancillary work related to roadway and site work. Hydraulics and Hydrology modeling experience is desirable. Candidate must have excellent oral and written communication skills and have the ability to work on multiple simultaneous projects.
